COVID-19


The safety and welfare of our clients are a top priority and we want to make sure we’re here for you during these difficult times. Due to the contagious nature of the COVID-19 virus, we have made the decision to pause all in-person sessions. However, we’re pleased to announce that we will be able to continue sessions with clients via Teleconferencing. This means you will still be able to schedule and attend your session from the privacy of your own home or office using video conferencing or phone. Many insurance companies have agreed to cover Teleconferencing sessions with the understanding that this is not a time to discontinue therapy. Please check with your individual carrier to make sure that your policy will cover Telehealth sessions. As always, you would be responsible for the balance of what your insurance does not cover.

At this time, we also do not suggest that clients cancel sessions or discontinue therapy. These are unusual and challenging times for all of us and though we have to take certain precautions, this is not a time to isolate.

This is a temporary measure. We will reassess as we move forward and as the “safer at home” measures are lifted.

Initially, some clients were uncertain if this would be an effective way to have a therapy session or if they would like it. We are pleased to report, unanimously, people find the video-conferencing easy to join and that there is a very similar benefit to in-person sessions.
